Prompt is our first-ever customer conference — a day of honest conversation, hands-on sessions, and the kind of energy you can't replicate over Zoom. ### Who should attend Prompt? If you care about the future of data, this conference is for you. Whether you're leading a data team, deep in the craft as an analyst or analytics engineer, thinking through how AI is reshaping the data scientist's role, or a business partner working closely with data teams to drive decisions, Prompt is a space to explore those questions together, with each other as a data community. ### Is there a cost to attend? Yes, registration is $395 per attendee. This includes full access to all sessions, workshops, and networking events throughout the conference. ### What's included in my registration? Full-day conference access, breakfast (with good coffee!), lunch, access to our Hexpert bars for 1:1 help from the Hex team, and a chance to grab some gear at our very own swag store — with great, personalizable swag you won't find anywhere else. Our breakout sessions — roundtables and hands-on labs (HOL) — have limited space, so we're asking everyone to pre-register for these. To help us plan for the right room sizes and materials, please only sign up for sessions you're seriously considering attending. Main stage sessions are open to all attendees and don't require pre-registration. Not sure which breakout sessions are right for you? Breakout session sign-ups launch on September 22nd! - **Already registered for the conference?** You'll receive an email on that date prompting you to set up your account and choose the sessions you'd like to attend. - **Haven't registered yet?** No problem — once you complete your conference registration, you'll be prompted to select your breakout sessions right there on the confirmation page. ### Where will Prompt take place? Prompt will be at The San Francisco Mint in SoMa, 88 5th St, San Francisco, CA. ### What do I need to bring to the hands-on labs? Just a charged laptop and your readiness to learn! Some HOL sessions may require a small bit of pre-work to make sure you have access to the right tooling or instances ahead of time. If that's the case for a session you've registered for, we'll reach out in advance with everything you need to do to get set up. ### How do I get there? The San Francisco Mint is accessible by BART and Muni. Powell street station is only a 2 min walk. There is also the Fifth & Mission / Yerba Buena Parking Garage located across the street. ### Where should I stay? There are plenty of great hotels within walking distance of the venue. While Prompt will not be broadcasted virtually, recordings will be available afterwards for on-demand viewing. ### What should I bring to Prompt? We’ve got most things covered, but we recommend coming prepared for varying temps. The venue itself can run chilly, and part of the sessions are held outdoors so depending on the weather, that could mean sunscreen and a hat, or an extra layer. And if you signed up for our HOL be sure to bring your laptop. ### I have dietary restrictions. Will they be accommodated? Please be sure to indicate any dietary restrictions and requirements when you register. We will have vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options available. ### What is the code of conduct? Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and disruptive behavior toward attendees, staff, or speakers will not be tolerated, and violations may result in removal without a refund.
